How Creativity Coaching Works

In a coaching relationship, we will explore where you feel you are at now, and what you would like to have more of. I will share some tips and techniques to help guide you toward YOUR own truth about what creativity means to you, and how you desire to express it, on your own terms.

We will consider some of the wily and persistent challenges you face - for example: not enough time, perfectionism, fear of failure or success. There can be several hurdles, obvious or subtle, that prevent you from moving forward. No judgement, no harsh deadlines, no tough self- talk. Compassionate inquiry and small questions about what YOU desire.

YOU are the expert of what is real and most important to you - YOU get to decide. As your coach, through questions, conversation, empathetic listening...I hold space for your creative expression, encouraging you with joy and a fair bit of humor. Nudge you to listen to your creative longings, and find your muses; then trust yourself and them to take you where you have wanted to go!

 Why Creativity Coaching Works

YOUR life is your ultimate creative project.

It is not only “artists” who are creative. You create every day - how you dress, prepare food, live your life - before you even pick up a paintbrush, pen or instrument.

I am committed to “sleuthing” with you for the areas where you find meaning and joy, and I declare you CREATIVE from the get go!

Ignoring your creativity makes life less enjoyable.

Ignoring or side-lining personal creativity can create a whole host of unwanted effects: stuckness, boredom, sadness, resentment - even ill health.

Acknowledging and expressing your creativity - whatever that looks like for you - leads to more ease, more joy, rekindling of passions and a life that FLOURISHES!

Isn’t it time to change?

Where will you find yourself in a month, a year, or longer, if you keep doing what you have always done? Will you have the energy and focus to live the life you desire - to fulfill the dreams and ideas that have been set aside, or buried under “have to’s” or “shoulds”? A very wise man (Einstein :)) once said “If you do what you always did, you will get what you always got.” What do you have to GAIN by trying a different approach!
